YES-Track & Field™ General Information YES-Track & Field™ is a program designed to serve those who want an opportunity to test themselves against themselves - as well as against other competitors who come from a larger area geographically. "Track & Field type events" are also offered through YES-Running™ on specific Certification Days throughout the year. Running on the track provides a fun way to certify individual improvement in speed. Jumping and throwing (field events) provide a standardized method of certifying improvement in upper and lower body coordination and strength. YES-Running™ provides an introduction to the sport of Track & Field in a non-competitive environment. - - - The events listed below provide a comprehensive list of events approved for YES-Athletics. Not all of the events below are utilized on Speed Certification Days. For details, consult your local Club or League Coordinator.
YES-Athletics Track & Field Competition Divisions in Oklahoma are based on the grade the participant was/is in as of May 15th.
